濠城公社Haocheng Commune

窖藏，据马道阔1981年报道。1976年12月，当地在组织干部义务劳动挖掘水塘时候，在公社医院，距离地表1.56-2米的地方发现楚国铜贝10.5公斤，8856枚。铜贝出土时候，没有器皿盛放，锈结堆积在一起。周围是生土和沙砾。距离垓下古战场一公里，可能是秦末埋藏。

Hoard; per Ma Daokuo's 1981 report. In December 1976, while local cadres were digging a pond as part of an unpaid-labor campaign, 10.5 kg (8,856 pieces) of Chu bronze cowrie coins were found at the commune hospital, 1.56-2 m below the surface. The coins were not contained in any vessel and had corroded into a single mass; the surrounding soil was undisturbed subsoil and gravel. The findspot is about 1 km from the ancient Gaixia battlefield, so the coins may have been buried at the end of the Qin dynasty.
