蒋城子Jiangchengzi

不明，桥林镇西街居委会林家小村西南200米，市文物保护单位，商周，面积约7000平方米，高约7米，文化层厚4.5米左右，1958年发现，1983年发掘570平方米（出土遗物含铜锥、刀、戈和鬼脸钱即蚁鼻钱，出土年份取1983年正式发掘）。遗存分为西周前期、西周后期、春秋前期、春秋后期至战国初四个时期，属湖熟文化遗存，同时还发现西周后期房屋遗迹和埋在房屋周围的瓮棺（《东南文化》1990年第1、2期合刊）。

Context unknown. 200 m southwest of Linjiaxiao Village, West Street Residents' Committee, Qiaolin Town; a municipal-level protected cultural-relics site; Shang-Zhou period; about 7,000 sq m in area, standing about 7 m high, with cultural deposits about 4.5 m thick. Discovered in 1958; 570 sq m excavated in 1983 (finds include bronze awls, knives, and dagger-axes, and "ghost-face coins" i.e. ant-nose coins; the discovery year is taken as 1983, the year of formal excavation). The remains fall into four periods -- early and late Western Zhou, and early and late Spring-and-Autumn through early Warring States -- belonging to the Hushu culture; Late-Western-Zhou house remains and urn-coffin burials interred around the houses were also found (Southeast Culture, 1990 nos. 1-2 combined issue).
