Description

Context unknown; found in a sand pile beside a stream. The face bears two and a half square incised impressions reading "Ying Cheng," one of the half impressions facing the opposite direction from the other; the reverse shows traces of a fine grid-pattern fabric and faint streaks resembling a five-fingered handprint. One edge is original casting, the rest showing cutting marks. This is the largest of Anji's 4 Chu gold plates. Discovered in 1967.
